Chocolate Chip: A Classic Book That You Love or Really Enjoyed
When I think of Classics I honestly think of books I had to read in school. Growing up I always loved Greek mythology, so my pick is The Odyssey. It’s the OG tale of a hero’s journey, you can’t go wrong here.
Thin Mints: A Fandom That You Really Want to ‘Join’ AND/OR a Hyped-Up Book You Want To Read
I am so late to the ball game with this series. This book haunts me. I see it everywhere. I know I need to read it, I know it’s supposed to be so good, but I haven’t found the time to read it and/or motivation! I really want to hop onto this bandwagon, maybe I’ll do it now that I have a book blog!
Shortbread: An Author You Can’t Get Enough Of
I cannot get enough of Sarah J. Mass. My previous post may say otherwise, but I truly love her writing and her characters. I fall off the face of the Earth when I have one of her books in my hand. It’s radio silence from me for days until I resurface from one of her tales. Highly recommend!
Samoas/ Caramel DeLites: An Emotional Rollercoaster
Okay Leigh Bardugo, I have some words to exchange with you. How dare you make me fall in love with all these characters?! I laughed so much in this book, but I also CRIED. Tears were flowing down my face at one point. This series is ADDICTING. If there’s one book series everyone needs to read it’s this one.
Oreos: A Book Whose Cover Was Better Than The Story OR Vice Versa, Where The Story Was Better Than Its Cover
This is a tough one, but in my opinion, The Dark Elements series had the cheesiest book covers, but the story wasn’t that bad! It looks like some adult romance book but it’s actually a supernatural/young adult story. Definitely a lot better than it looks.
Tagalongs/ Peanut Butter Patties: A Book That Wasn’t What You Expected
Okay, hear me out. Vampires are a bit overdone, but The Chicagoland Vampires series is a surprisingly good read with a decent plot (the last book was meh but the rest of the books were good). If you’re looking for a long series to devote yourself to (there are 13 books), this is a pretty good one to try out.
Snickerdoodles: A Book You May Never Stop Rereading
I spent my 7th/8th-grade years reading ONLY Harry Potter. I must have read the first 5 books 10 times each. Do I need to explain why?
